Hello all,
I got an update EE/CEC-Outland
But I’m not sure if i passed Medicals or not cos the profile didn’t change, neither did I got biometrics letter, only that my previous biometrics done 2018 for my Work Permit Extension was updated into the profile with the expiry date 2022.

My progress bar say 32%

Is this how it is for everyone who has gotten MEP/BIL? @legalfalcon

ITA: May 15th
AOR: June 19th
MEP: profile still says; “you don’t need medical” and not “medical passes”.
BIL: previous biometric updated. No Letter

Hi Bade2145,
Just curious, why they didnt ask you for Biometrics, as it is must for pr applicants, have you applied before for PR tooo?

I honestly have no idea. I wish @legalfalcon can make some explanation. Perhaps they will send the biometric letter later.

And yes, I applied for PR before (in fact the application is still on) PNP-Paper based in Oct 23, 2017. I didn’t get a response for so long so I tried EE-CEC. The thing is I never had to to biometric for PNP although I did RCMP then.

If you have given biometrics then the same may be used. If your biometrics is on file, you will see it in your MyCIC account.

To see if you have to re-do the biometrics, see

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

Also, if you have not received BIL, you will get it soon.

Thank you @legalfalcon.
Thanks so much for the link. I just checked it now and I realized my biometric is valid till 2028!
Interestingly, the biometric was for a work permit application and not PR?

I thought PR biometric was different?
If I had known I wouldn’t have paid for biometric then, but isn’t all good.

Now I can rest and hope for eligibility clearance.
