Received updateJune 27th AOR.
PNP outland.
No update so far.
Relieved an update on passing my medical exam today (August 15th). I now have two biometrics instruction letters; one for my BOWP app and one for my PR app. Does anyone know if I can just get my biometrics collected once? Would I need to bring both letters?AOR: June 24th
BIL: August 14th
No updates on medical yet.
(CEC inland)
Awesome, I am slightly behind you (AOR: June 27th) and hoping to see some update by the end of next week. PPRs for CEC have slowed down drastically, possibly due to the biometrics paradox (inland) that they have been trying way too hard to address since March. So much for “Express” Entry.Hi everyone, I finally got some update on my application.
AOR: June 24th, 2020
BIL/MEP: August 14th, 2020
UCI changed to my permanent UCI from CAN**** one
I can now see progress bar. @28%
Hahaha... Yeah @indianstudent96! Hoping for some update on this whole biometric situation soon. Along with Covid and because of biometric delay, I think processing have been slowed down due to CEC only draws as well due to increase in case load. However, saw that some of the May aor applicants got their eligibilty cleared after a month of MEP/ BIL so that is kind of reassuring. I had a few complications with my urine test so I am relieved after getting my medical passed. I hope you get yours soon as well. Hi there, i also received imm5406 recently .. did you submitted the form?I have been asked to fill IMM5406e Additional Family Details. One question I have with regards to that form is that do we need to fill in parents' details even if they are not accompanying us?
Thanks. I just came to know Service Canada has just re-opened in our city (not gonna mention the name of the city here), but it looks like they are going to slowly roll out biometrics collection for PR applicants before they open it for newer inland temporary residence applicants. Yes, seeing Eligibility passed within a month of clearing MEP is promising. The real question is how long CSIS and CBSA are going to take for security clearance in the midst of the pandemic. Also, I am not sure if IRCC is happy to just letting people become permanent residents without landing procedures. Landing seems to be the most inefficient process for inland applicants as they are already in the country; it would be nice to see IRCC continuing the virtual landing process for inland applicants even after the borders open.Hahaha... Strange. According to CIC none of the service Canada offices are taking biometrics at the moment. Even if they are open.Thanks. Exactly, it's a speculation. I never said they are reopening. I guess it's how you interpret it.Unless you have seen it on their site that they are planning to do that, your quote is pure speculation.
Nope. It’s how you word it.Exactly, it's a speculation. I never said they are reopening. I guess it's how you interpret it.
I am not gonna go into semantics here. There was no explicit statement that said Service Canada is taking biometrics collection appointments. It feels weird to have everything but biometric collection open here.Nope. It’s how you word it.
