I guess it depends on the officer who is reviewing the application. But this is an AIP right?
Yeah, we received the same message. Just happy that many of us are receiving first-stage approvals. Are you guys going to do online classes? Because I am quite worried about stage 2.

I am a returning student who has been studying in Canada since Fall 2016. I have a solid profile as well as travel history which includes couple for US visas too (both B1/B2 as well as J1). So, I guess it is a bit safer for me to continue. But if you had a chance to attend any of the IRCC webinars, they clearly said chances of refusal after AIP are very low unless you have criminal history and medical inadmissibility. So, imo I don't see any reason why not to start online education after AIP.

Congratulations!
Right back at you! In case anyone is wondering:

Full app submitted - 7/10/2020 as US citizen
eligibility review started around 7/15
today I received AIP (or letter stating I move onto the next stage)
Nothing updated on my account

Thank you. I already passed the medical exam and I am confident with my biometrics. I am really planning to push through with online classes just want what others think here. :)

Congratulations :)

Was it SDS or non-SDS?
