Timeline:
03 May, 2020 : Applied TRV (inside canada with biometric already done last year)
16 July, 2020 : Received Correspondence Letter (Biometric is valid)
11 August 2020 : Approved (Passport Request)

"You'll get your passport back within 14 calendar days plus mailing time". That is what they have mentioned on their website. So at least wait for one more week and then call them if you would not hear anything from CIC.

I applied on May 21st already with biometric (I did biometric in February). I am still waiting.

I don’t think so, I already pass biometric in February 2020, because I applied for Work Permit and they are still valid. (They are valid 10 years).

My lawyer is working with my docs and she didn’t tell me about anything additional, she just told me that there was a pause on processing TRV applications in Canada as the passport stamping office was physically closed; the government only resumed processing in the last few weeks.

I asked her about the correspondence letter, I will post the timeline here.
