hi guys. in additional family information i write details about myself..what shall i write in relationship? applicant?

i think that if you are sponsoring your spouse you do not need to fill these forms as you are already on PR Status but not sure..

@sta: I believe your question was answered in another thread, but, your husband would have to fill out those forms.

@s86: in the relationship field you would write 'father', 'mother', 'brother', etc. based on who they are to you. If I remember correctly, there is already a slot for you to write in your name with the relationship filled in as 'applicant'.

Only the applicant completes these forms. The sponsor is already a Canadian citizen or PR, so does not have to. It is because the same forms are used for other classes of immigrants, where both the husband and wife may be immigrating together.

You can leave the email blank (not everyone has an email). Note this does not guarantee that IRCC will not contact them or attempt to, and if IRCC wants information from them to confirm something theoretically could delay your own application, but I don't think IRCC typically does so.

If you have some VERY important reason you do not want IRCC to contact them, you could write a letter of explanation.

Thank you for your response. It also asks for Present addresses of the parents and siblings in the column to the right next to their name and date of birth. I have just put the City and country. Should I be putting the exact addresses that one would use as a mailing address? Thanks!

Oh okay I have to put exact addresses? Because this is the column heading: Present address ( If deceased: give city/town, country or territory and date)

My spouse and I are living with my parents and siblings so we all would have the same address. I don't know if this would be a problem or anything. So basically everyone's address will be the same in that column then...

This is not weird. Put the fact down. If everyone lives there, put that one address down every single row.
They give specific instruction to only include city/town, coutnry or territory because they know that deceased do not "live" in a place with a regular address.
