I am also in this situation with regard to my application - it was returned because there was no proof provided of when my photographs were actually taken. I have not had an AOR.
Hey guys, I sent my paperwork last December, got AOR in February. No updates since then, still "application received" status. Is it normal? I feel like the immigration has been put on hold completely including temp visas.
we are in the same boat as well, i think it is very long wait already, we should hear some updates soon. it has been 5 months already and apparently the immigration office didn't receive the application yet.
either delayed at central office or at post office. no one knows.
I think the best healthy option at this time is to relax and wait . it is not a good thing to remain on anxiousness mode at all time "including myself" . Covid has delayed everyhting and ruined lives . let us hope we all got test invite before end of this year.
Any new AORs of December applicants (or) for that matter any applicant? One of my friend had received his virtual oath ceremony invitation this week. So it confirms that some activity is definitely going on in terms of Citizenship applications.
The only question is when do we get on board. Since my application was returned, I didn't even had my AOR yet. I am one of those proud December applicants who might as well be the potential candidate to reach the destination at the end

December? wait for November guys to take tests first... they have no news so far

I just got FP request (Aug 7) and when I log in I now says they started processing application March 4th! Can someone please update spreadsheet?

They also say "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 20, 2020." but I didn't get anything...
You should have contacted them and double check that they have your correct email in their system.This could be because they have a wrong email in their system.
This refers to the mail that IRCC sent you as an acknowledgement of receiving your citizenship application and has the link to the study guide "Discover Canada" for you to prepare for the citizenship test as and when it happens.
