This is a Quebec specific concern.

I received my CSQ in January 2020 and used the IRCC email system to send Warsaw a digital copy of the CSQ just in case they didn't receive it from MIFI. A few days ago I contacted my MP to get a status update on my case and apparently there's a note saying to the file dating from June saying that they haven't received the CSQ. So now I'm not quite sure what to do. I contacted MIFI and they say that's why I received "copy 3" of the CSQ, which I can mail to my VO in Warsaw. However Warsaw's VO doesn't seem to respond to e-mails or anything so I'm not sure it's smart to mail them an unique original document that they need to progress our case.

Has anyone had any experience with this? What do I do?
This is awful!! I’m not a Quebec applicant but I have an idea! To make sure they would receive it you could ask your MP send Warsaw the CSQ ASAP since you already contacted their office and asked for help. And you could also email Warsaw by yourself (And I would suggest you explain the situation to try to avoid any possible delays). The VO clearly (somehow!) check their email box because they responded to bossmon last week.

You can call them 1-888-242-2100, pick 2-1-1-0 to speak to an agent. I think they may note or even update your new address. The last option hehe
Thank you
will try to call

all types of visas
"perfect"
now they will prioritize students over spouses...and we'll have to wait

Next time I'm in touch with my MP I'll be sure to ask if they can do that for me.

The thing is they didn’t respond to her email AND didn’t update her profile with a new address which is important because now she doesn’t have to wait for VACs reopening in Russia since her application needs to be finalized by the VO in Ottawa. At the same time they replied to your status update enquiry last week. But they ignored mine. Logic has left the chat.
Oh ok, I didn't realize that they didn't update her information.

The VFS Global in Russia site hasn’t been updated on Monday so it means it won’t be back in business till at least August 17th. I don’t understand why because in Saint Petersburg there’s a United VAC for 20+ countries at Chkalovskaya metro station and almost half of these VACs already reopened. So this place is open but Canadian office isn’t. What’s the problem...And I also don’t understand why some Russian applicants got PPR while others are still waiting for it. This process is so untransparent. I can’t believe I had hope to be done with this in the beginning of summer...it was too naive.
I think it might partially be due to the fact that they want to interview some applicants but cannot say anything at this time since they still don't have any direction yet.

Finally got a reply...that my info concerning new address has been updated. But later when I checked my profile - I didn't see any updates.
Should I continue my attempts until the changes appear on my profile?

Are you referring to “ignoring emails” or “not sending PPR”?

Mine was updated in two days (Emailed them on Thursday morning, updated on Saturday)

My point was in regards to people waiting and not hearing back.
So many people have been awaiting the news from Warsaw. I don’t think most of them need to be interviewed. When we sent our app I thought there was a possibility for the interview because of our common-law status. But after reading forums I realized that we included so many proofs and letters. It is clearly seen that everything is for real. So I would be kind of shocked if I got an invitation.

My guess is that if there is a hold-up that's unclear for Russian applications, it's most likely security.

Unfortunately we have zero visibility on how the security process has been impacted by covid.

Agree. I also think another problem for us is that embassy employees go on vacations during summer time which is delaying already delayed processes.

Yes, that would be a factor as well. Even more important may be that embassy staff (canada-based) typically rotate in and out every two to four years. This usually coincides with summertime period (to allow for staff with children in school). I can only guess that this may be an unholy mess this year as some may have been called back to Canada at the start of the process (and may or may not have returned), and staff with children in school try to figure out what (the heck) is happening with schooling in different countries and at home. After all, Ontario just announced its 'plan' a few days ago and it's being widely criticised. Add to that what international schools in Poland may be doing, I bet the rotation planning is royally messed up, let alone the actual physical movement of staff.

The whole year is messed up. It scares me how everything may be closed again anytime due to the “expected” second wave. It’s really hard to sit and patiently wait for DM and PPR knowing that the world can cancel itself again.
