@AshesNdust They are already doing pre-ceremony zoom sessions where they check your documents and stuff. Then why not the interviews? It could be done.

I believe the reason they do the interview right after the test is so they can physically see the hard copies of your paperwork. Holding them up to a camera during a Zoom call won’t work. So, people would have to physically come in at some point for this. Unless they want to do what they do for PR and allow digital uploads and only request hard copies if they feel something might be off.

the interview is not an issue, just like when you do your grocery and go to the cashier to pay, they are all using plexiglass now.
The use of plexiglass can be done by IRCC for interviews.

It might be a space issue for this at some places. Also, those setups at grocery stores are not that good and there’s a difference between spending 30 seconds checking out and much longer much talking.

They could do it more like how a bank does it, but that’s going to take work and space.

This was just an example of how they can do it, but I am very sure they can improve it to better protect them if they are willing to.
Nothing will be as before anymore, they will need to accommodate.
