Ph.D stream for Ph.D students

Hi,
I am in the second year of my Ph.D at UBC, and I would like applying for Permanent residency. Is there any program available for Ph.D students that I can apply through that?
I know that after graduation with Ph.D, I can apply through BCPNP program, but I would appreciate if anyone knows any special program for Ph.D students, share it please.

I know that around 2011-2012 there was a Ph.D stream for Ph.D students in the Federal Skilled worker program, but I am not able to find it anymore.
I have 1.5 year of foreign work experience.

There is no federal PhD program.

You can certainly apply under Express Entry if you qualify and have sufficient points to be selected (right now that would be 470+).

If your PhD is in a designated STEM field you can get the Tech PNP nomination without job offer

If you haven't graduated then you are not eligible for PhD related programs making the question void in the first place. But in terms of students working towards a PhD, Express Entry is the only thing

Thanks for the answer. There is a program in Ontario called “OINP PhD graduate stream” which graduate STUDENTS also can apply (after two years of study). So I was wondering maybe a program for PhD students in BC is available too.

I'm not sure what everyone else thinks but from my interpretation, it says that you need complete a PhD with at least 2 years of residency in Ontario, not complete only 2 years of a PhD.

No - there isn't.

You need to look at Express Entry.
