I hope they allow us to travel at least for December. Otherwise, my PGWP will get affected

I don't understand the logic of this. The US is the center of pandemic right now, and instead of allowing people from low-risk countries, they decided to let in US students first.

If you can prove your travel is essential and coming from the US, you can enter Canada. If your school is not fully online and requires you to take face-to-face classes or attend labs etc. you may travel.
