Hi everyone.

I have submitted my application to federal government on Nov 2019. After a long wait, I have come to realise that a flagpoling is technically considered a foreign tip, which I had to write down as part of my travel records.

I obtained my PGWP by flagpoling, and this is the only one travel record that is missing. What is the best way for me to update submitted PR application?

Regards,

In the web form, also include an updated and corrected version of the "your travels" form as an attachment. Give them the application number of your PR application, and ask them to include the corrected form to your documents.

Flagpoling doesnt consider Foreign trip because they deny your entry. Travel trips always have Dated stamps when you enter any country. If you Do so you ll misrepresent yourself they ll ask questions in form of ADR Missing dated stamps from your passport.

Well, I guess it's not technically a flagpolling. I am a Japanese citizen and I can freely travel to the US with ESTA. Therefore, I just went to the US border and came right back in. Then, I asked CBSA officer to issue a PGWP. So, I don't have a entry denial stamp on my passport!

Flagpoling doesnt require US visa, any foreign national can do flagpoling if they Have Canadian Visa. I'm not sure about Japanese but when you enter US with visa they ll isuue i90 and stick to your passport stamped and dated. I also got my PGWP form Rainbow bridge. I made one trip to US for one day and i told them in my travel history but i didnt mention Flagpoling. On GCMS it says Info sharing complete.

I see. Then, I won't mention about flagpolling. Instead, I will just mention it was one day trip to the US border.

You can double check the best way to fill the form, and if it's really necessary to send a new one, by calling to IRCC and speaking with an agent (if u call them in the beginning of the morning, around 8 am, probably u won't need to wait too much). Alternatively, you can also do a question as a comment in the IRCC twitter (just see the most recent post, and add a comment with the question - they usually are able to answer general questions).
