I did not receive any mail for my updates. In your account it will say we are reviewing your eligibility. Medical will say passed if you had any.same for biometrics

Same goes for me.
I applied on 23rd June 2020.
Didn't receive any email but when I checked my profile, it says Reviewing your eligibility

Do you guys think getting the medical exams done beforehand is a good move? I applied in April, and there is no hope for the VACs to open anytime soon here.

By CEC, do you mean Canadian Experience Class? Or is it something else?

I applied in Canada, without biometrics, for a study permit extension on March 18th. Review of eligibility has not started yet for me.
