Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

ung purpose of visit mo is not tie to your Employment Prospects in Home Country. Dapat it must show a logical progression of your career. It should improve your abilities, or fill a gap that you have from your pevious education kahit pa hindi MBA ang program mo or not PG ok lang.. Highlights the courses you will take na hindi mo pa nakukuha sa previous study or work mo, or if the specific courses are not available in your country. Be specific and straight to the point kasi your reason for visiting Canada is to study, and why would you study? Kasi you want to improve your employment prospects in the Philippines. Just my two cents po.
I did like to understand more about this new IRCC rule, there's a lot of question which I hope IRCC can answer.
There're 2 stages in the new visa application. if one passes the first application and starts lectures online and I bet he/she would have paid for the tuition fees. What if the second approval is refused? What happens to the tuition... When I checked the IRCC website it states "It is important for prospective students to note that commencing their studies online from abroad following approval-in-principle of a study permit application is not a guarantee that they will receive full approval of their study permit application, or be authorized to pursue their studies in Canada. It is still possible that an applicant could receive a negative final decision on their study permit based on factors such as inadmissibility for criminality or security reasons, and the inability to predict how the COVID-19 situation and any associated travel restrictions will evolve." What do you think? is this a good move or it's an expensive risk?.

Ask ko lang po kailan po kayo nag apply? As for the stages of application, if you’re sure you don’t have any problems regarding medical exam, police certificate, and biometrics (sure namang wala to), you don’t have to worry for the final approval. Nakakita ako ng reply na sa cici news is kasama daw sa first stage yung SOP which is the main reason why study permits are refused.
Reply po sana mga nag apply na pero di pa nakapagbiometrics. Para malaman ng mga tao po dito kung sinimulan na ng embassy yung two stage process. 
The Canadian embassy are funny sometimes, they can cook-up some reasons for denial even after your documents are complete...medicals, bio-metrics and Police certificate are successful.
Hi po! May question lang po sana ako. Course ko po kasi nung college dito sa PH is tourism management pero ngayon ay nasa logistics industry ako (consistent from first job until now). Would it raise additional questions po ba sa application ko if ang program na i-a-apply for sp is business/logistics related rather than tourism? Thank you

Just an advice to those wishing to apply for September intake. If you think the new policy of 2 step approval is a good policy from the Canadian govt, please think twice because the policy is made to benefit the Canadian Govt not the students.
If you're approved in the 1st stage and you start lectures while waiting for second approval....be advised that your second approval is not guaranteed. It's stated in the policy "It is important for prospective students to note that commencing their studies online from abroad following approval-in-principle of a study permit application is not a guarantee that they will receive full approval of their study permit application, or be authorized to pursue their studies in Canada.
