Hello, anyone knows anything regarding PR being issued to PNP outland applicants. I completed biometrics and gave in my full application for PR towards end of February and still waiting. No updates no nothing since. i'm hoping that maybe its because of the travel ban maybe when the travel ban is lifted there will be PR's issued. Any info would be highly uplifting as its getting depressing not knowing anything and not seeing progress. its been 5 months!

I am in a similar situation to you but I reordered my GCMS notes a few days ago hopefully I will get updates soon.

From looking at other threads I found someone who's AOR is in Jan who got a response from web form saying that their application is approved, they haven't been given COPR yet but also had the following comment from the web form:

We will instruct you on how to proceed to have your visa and COPR issued once the travel restrictions have been removed and the VAC in your country has resumed operations.

I actually wanted to order GCMS notes but the representative i'm working with said he doesn't recommend it unless things go wrong with the application. He also said that all processing has been halted since march 19 and that it just started picking up again a couple of weeks ago.

I don't know if this means ive lost 3-4 months because i read that they were processing still but not at full capacity. It would be horrible thinking I have to wait 5-6 months all over again if not more. Hopefully we hear some good news soon or at least see progress with our applications.

Most of us here are in a similar situation like you. Many of the Dec and Jan outlander applications were approved during July 1st week but none of them received COPR. Apart from few who got their medicals extended, many of them are still waiting for updates from IRCC. If you haven't raised a web form, its the best time to do so. You can also call them at 1-888-242-2100 to know your application status.

May I know your AOR and stream?

Can i do it myself or should i ask my representative to do it on my behalf?
If you have your details which you can get form the portal you can actually do it yourself. It’s very simple and you ask to know the eligibility, criminality and security status of your application. Your rep could still donor for you as well. This way is helpful if you can’t call or get gcms notes.

I don't know when or if I received AOR I have a representative handling my application I don't have access to see anything. Sorry for sounding clueless it's just he's been handling everything from the start. But I know my stream is human capital. I received my biometrics letter on February 11 and completed it February 17. Should I ask him regarding the AOR?

I guess it all depends on the attitude of your rep. I’ve seen on a number if threads that some refuse with information and act like they’re the be all and end all of the immigration process. Whether you have a rep or not there’s just some information you should have , it’s your personal information at the end of the day and you have every right to it. Some reps advise that don’t contact IRCC cz it can negatively affect your application etc etc. I would ask them to raise a web form For you or ask them for your application details, application #, UCI# login ID, password etc. I used a rep and they cost me a delay Bcz they forgot to upload my sons birth certificate and resulted in our application getting rejected and we had to reapply. I could be in Canada by now if it wasn’t for that silly error (lol I laugh about it now but I was beyond livid at the time) . But on a serious note they should be transparent enough to give you that information, you know your rep, be tactful about it. Is this a IRCac registered immigration rep? Or one of those that say their a rep but they’re not registered?

I have my application # and UCI # just saw them now when I dug up the biometrics letter he sent me. When I received a PNP I had access to the ontario portal so I was checking status everyday but now with ITA I don't have access and not knowing anything after 5 months is nerve wrecking. Especially that he's so robotic with his answers he doesn't give any details just says no updates yet that processing was halted and I don't even know what that means.

I know what you mean about errors when he was doing my PNP application he wrote my name wrong Cybthia instead of Cynthia. I freaked out when I saw. I hired a rep in order to avoid panicking because I tend to do that but instead I think it made me even more worried. But he's legit he's registered and everything I dug up everything before I signed with him. Sorry about your application and the delay that's not okay. The only thing that makes me feel better is I know at some point it's gonna happen it's just I wish I had a time frame or at least know where it's at now. If anything was done at all either security or background check or anything. Sucks not knowing.

While filling the web form you need to give your registered mail id to get a response. I'm not sure if you can give a new mail ID in the web form apart from the one that was provided during app submission, I haven't tried that. Else, you can provide the content and ask him to raise a web form and share the reply. Try to get the basic details of your application from the rep as you are aware that you have every right to know it.

I think it's his email that is being used I never receive anything he just forwards to me whatever he receives. I'm gonna wait till the travel restrictions on new PR is lifted to ask him about doing a web form or calling as right now I think he'll just keep giving me the same answers plus no one seems to be getting PR before the restrictions are lifted. Do you think restrictions will be somewhat lifted July 31 or will they possibly extend more? Seems to be dragging on forever and I doubt anyone who's outland will be issued anything or see any updates before that.

I'm expecting to see the travel restrictions lifted around mid to late September. My thinking is that they want to avoid a mass rush of tourists bringing in the virus over summer.
It's possible that they might alter the travel restrictions to allow COPR holders in before then, perhaps our applications will see movement of that happens.

I hope it won't be extended that long for COPR holders hopefully they make some kind of exceptions if they decide to extend the restrictions. I really hope we see some kind of progress soon.
