Thanks for the information. But the package tracker shows "We have not received the package yet". Do these status updates after they open my package?

I'm worried if the package is not misplaced or wrongly sent by my university for some other WES Reference number.

Yes that is normal, mine went from "Not Recieived" to under process, and complete very quickly.

WES are still catching up on processing all the physical documents they have received. I assume they need to disinfect every single document and envelope they get before scanning it in.

Wes Canada just posted this on their website:

We are continuing to increase our mail processing capabilities and are now able to provide additional estimates for processing time.

  • Documents received in our WES Canada office by July 6, 2020, will be processed by July 24, 2020.
  • Documents received in our WES Canada office by July 20, 2020, will be processed by July 31, 2020.
  • Documents received in our WES U.S. office are now being processed within 2-3 business days.


Let's keep crossing our fingers guys.
 
They were supposed to acknowledge my documents (delivered on June 8th) by 22nd of July (today), but have not yet. I also know a person whose documents were delivered in May but still no changes in status. So, I can at least confirm that their estimation is simply a way to keep at bay the incoming messages to customer support. I would strongly suggest not to wait but bombard their contact us form and require some actions.

Damn that's nuts. I wonder why they even post these updates when they don't reflect real timelines. : (

Ring them up. They may have missed it.
Call them with your tracking number ready and a computer in front of you.
Or, wait for another day. Don't forget it's still July 22 their side.
 
I logged in just to share the ridiculous timelines. Masters is from Australia and Bachelor's from India. They evaluated my Masters as Masters equivalency and removed my bachelor's from the report. Hope this is fine?

Final report: July 20, 2020 with Masters equivalency!

They didn't even wait for my Bachelor's paperwork lol

Submitted application: July 15th 2020
University sent electronic transcript directly to WES: July 22nd 2020
Status changed to Evaluation In Progress: July 22nd 2020

"Our document specialists are processing your new document(s).
You are not required to do anything at this time."
 
Hello all, I just heard back from WES and they have not accepted the documents my University sent them via email. They said it has not been sent directly from the university but I checked with my academic institution and they used an official email to deliver documents to WES. In fact, they told me it has been sent from the same email address that students must use to request their certificates and transcripts to the university so WES explanation for refusal doesn't make any sense.

Anyone had the same problem or happens to know what guidelines WES have to accept documents via email?

Did your university send WES a web form before they sent them your transcript?
Where did WES's e-mail address come from?

I am not sure. They said they contacted WES via the "Contact Us" WES page and WES contacted them back and they replied with the documents. Where they can find this web form? Is there any other way they should use to contact WES other than the "contact us"?
