What will happen if we can't complete at least 50% of the course in Canada ?

The one who will suffer from this are those with 1 year course..as they'll have no other option..its better to defer the program to max..
What if I take 1+1 courses of 1 year PGDM?
Is it possible to apply for extension by staying in our home country? If in case jan intake also is online

No dont even think of doing like that as it's not possible to extend visa from home country..you'll have to be present in Canada plus our SOP for the visa has clearly said that we are going for study purpose and will return after completing our course ..so any extension from india would straightway be a rejection

All international students should not join online classes this fall, then Canadian Govt. will think of allowing us to enter. Because if you take online classes then only you will be the looser and all other parties will be the winner. Better we should defer to Jan or ask for refund.
Exactly i feel we are the losers here because with this policy only the one year course students are going to suffer plus if God forbid jan semester too becomes online then we all are doomed.. we wont be able to extend our Visa plus we will not be able to get refund

i dont think that the CA gov will let such thing happen and create such problems for us. Definitely they might bring some changes to the immigration rules at that time point where it comes to forcing Jan intake online too neither clgs or universities will let that happen as it might cause loss to them also.

What we all have is just assumptions. We can only hope for the best.

There was a Qn n Ans session with IRCC. They said they will stick to this 50% thing n those students who are studying over 2 to 3 year course will get away with this.. the problem is if we are stuck in our country n the course exceeds 50% online(beyond jan 2021) then we will face issues as we cant do much, that's the reason why many are deferring to jan intake so that they dont face a situation like that

Guys...those of us who have study permit approval from late 2019....please help!

I got the permit approval in late November 2019 for September 2020 entry.

So, my medicals were given in late October 2019. The idea was to travel by late August this year so that my medical exam would have been valid if things had been normal.

But now, if I can't travel for September, and can only go by December end this year, then my medical exam would expire by late October this year.

Will I be denied entry into the country due to this? How can I sort this out please?

Can I give another medical exam before December? But how to add a new medical exam to an already approved file? I'll be immensely grateful to get any information regarding this please...

Is there anyone got confirmation from school that credit while studying on AIP will be accepted even if refusal is the final decision?
Hi did you get an answer to this question? My brother completed 50% of his studies after he got AIP and he just got a refusal. We are devastated and don’t know what to do now.

Immediately forward your bros rejection letter to his college n ask them for refund without further waste
