Congrats to all who got their TRV!
My wife who lives in Turkey plans to apply for a TRV too. I have some questions:
- How should she support 'ties to your country ensuring you will leave Canada at the end of the authorized period of stay'?
- What should she type for 'how long you plan to stay' section? Is it too long if she types 12 months?
- For "previously applied to enter or remain in Canada" should she say yes and indicate her PR application is in-process?
- Do I need signature I am being appointed as a representative and authorized person to be released information to (forms 5475 and 5476).

i applied for TRV for my wife June 10 . she lives in jordan and she has PR in process in jordan amman VO . dont know why her TRV was transferred to ANKRA for processing no AMMAN .since june 10 in process no news .
AMMAN VO estimated processing time for TRV is 8 days only and ankra 80days . is there any way i can ask to transfer her Trv to amman VO ?

My application is only 7.5 months in. I think other people whose application is as old as yours (+12 months) can answer your question better. However, I would think this is kind of an 'automatic' status update since your application is now over the 'usual' processing time of 12 months.
Also, probably it's not necessarily that your application is 'complex' or you're late to answer 'requests' etc. It's most likely only because of COVID-19 that your application (as well as everybody elses) is (or will be) behind regular processing times.
Mine says

Latest update:
Review of medical results - February 7, 2020:You passed the medical exam.
Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along."

Do not worry, nothing important. This message appeared just because the 12 months estimated time passed.
I have same your message, don’t worry .It shows after you complete the 12 months.
They received my application on June 2019 and they sent it to Ankara visa office on September 11,2019.
Still waiting
I received a PPR on March 16 and submitted it on March 17th. Passport is still at the embassy with no updates :/
May 2019 applied
July 2019 medical.
Medical is about to expire too. Contemplating if I should re-take it before any correspondence from the IRCC. What do you guys think? Will they extend it without retaking it?

Personaly I think when you get the PPR, you pass all the steps and do not need the valid medical.
