Hi there! After my medical done , my application status showing 57% done and decision made. But they are not informing about what decision they have been made. Can anyone please tell me whats their decision is? And when they will send my another update or passport request? 57% means what!! Please help anyone

57% means absolutely nothing. It is simply how much of the 1 year period since your application was received has passed.

I have filed PR for my spouse under the family sponsorship 'in canada' category. Our file was delivered around 20th Feb. There has been no confirmation or any kind of communication from CIC.
Can anyone tell me what date of files have they started processing now? and how long it might take them to open our file?
Any answer is appreciated. Thank you.

Application number received feb 3,2020
Biometric request feb 7,2020
Bio done feb 12,2020
Medical request feb 18,2020
Medical passed feb 23,2020
Sponsoring a family member requirement approved my feb 28,2020 and got approved letter
File transfer to Local visa office in cpc mississauga mar 3,2020

No, just a letter confirming that you both live at the address and have for at least one year, with their contact information.

Can I link my request without having AOR? It seems to me that it is the same number that has the receipt of payment that begins with R, how you linked your application?

Do you know which letters the application numbers begin with? do they have the same letter at the beginning?

thanks. Your file was processed pretty quick. my spouse is in Canada so maybe the application differed in a way. Lets hope we get an application number soon. she has a closed work permit and then she can get an open work permit.

yes in the past I linked app with recpt no. be4 AOR it was IMM5401

This has been explained many time on the forum, the progress bar means nothing, ignore it. It has no bearing on the actual progress of your app. It is a % of time that has passed of the NORMAL 1 year processing time. The best thing that could happen is that IRCC removes the progress bar altogether as it is very misleading for people who think it is the actual progress of their app.
