Many people have been denied boarding for online classes. Even colleges like Georgian, University od Saskatchewan, Concordia University have mentioned this on their website under Covid section. But government hasn't mentioned it explicitly. I can understand your confusion. I have even confirmed the same from CBSA..
Hi !!!
@Dafaqisgoingon , I guess that's right...even I am getting the feeling that online classes may be considered " non essential " even if our permit is approved before March 18.
But as you said, the problem is that the IRCC website has not mentioned clearly that " even among those with approval before March 18, the online nature of classes may prevent entry ".
I'd request for your advice on the following please:
1. Is air India still denying boarding to people with online classes? They denied boarding in June, but even now, it's only air India that flies - no other airline flies from india.
2. Since we have some cases of people being allowed into Canada even with online classes, can you please please post what CBSA told you, please? A link of what they have said will be extremely reassuring...
Thanks a ton!
