As I mentioned before
Don’t upload any unnecessary document
This will just make your case more complicated
They can see in the system what all you applied for
So don’t upload that document.
Thank you
I thought it was for the visa and looking at the current trend if i might have to go back to india (maybe before my pr comes home) so i was looking at applying for temporary visa (as i can understand .. its the visa that allows exit and entry from country... maybe i am wrong...)

In that section you should leave it empty.
Because you had PGWP, that section is necessary for the one who has employer specific work permit.
Even i left it empty and asked my friends who got there PGWP in past and has no issues leaving it empty.
I am attaching my imm5710e from that section.

Can you pls answer this
Thanks all, i tried doing it myself and there are a few questions that i had....
1) I have a job letter from my employer(for PR purpose) but the videos i found almost always answer no in the questionnaire
2) the 5710e has the initial questions of the purpose of applying that says for job at same employer.... job at new employer..... resume status as worker... and a forth one which I definitely know is inapplicable..... can you help me choose the right options...
3) which document is preferred for NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT i chose my D/L
4) Should i mention my employer in the form when it asks most probable employer question
5) it has a question towards the end that asks have you ever applied to enter or stay in canada ... video said no but i thought i have applied for Study visa the WP and now for PR how can it be no
6) what should i write at the optional section’s client information letter
---

Just to add a little more of information:

4) For the section "Details of Intended Work In Canada". As answered before, don't forget to select "Open Work Permit" as the type of work permit [If you select something else, the application will be refused]. I would just do a note that in case you're a provincial nominee: on item 3, you can also select the province and city from your nomination and fill the address as "Not Applicable); on item 8, you should check the "yes" box for the question if you were issued a certificate under the provincial nominee program.

Not mandatory, but may helpful, you can put in the part of "Name of Employer" something like "Applying for Bridging Open Work Permit". If the validation of the form ask to fill other field in this section because of it, just fill "Not Applicable" or "N/A" or "To be determined".

5) As said before in this thread, just fill like: Study Permit issued month/day (or the application number), Work Permit issued month/day (or application number).

6) You should have a letter of explanation to clearly say that you're applying for a Bridging Open Work Permit, and how you meet the requirements. And you would need to attach some mandatory documents: AOR (Acknowledge or Receipt letter or email), nomination letter (in case you're a provincial nominee), and a photocopy of current work permit.

I recommend to do a concise Letter of Explanation with a list of attachments in the end, and attach the mandatory documents to it. Create a single pdf with all that, and upload this document. Not mandatory, but a good idea, is to name the pdf as something like "LetterOfExplanation, AOR, Nomination Letter, Work Permit, etc.. pdf" as it will make sure the officer don't forget to check any of the attachments.

As said before by other people in this thread, try to do your application as simple and straightforward as possible. Officers have like 10 minutes on average to check each application, so you don't want to give them something complicated to read that can lead to confusion and/or misinterpretation.

Hello, I took a look into your images and I would do the following considerations/corrections:

- For "Personal Details" - item 1: Make sure your "Family Name" and "Given Name" matches what's written in your passport. The "Family Name" item would be the same as "Surname" (at least for my country's passport, I googled for passports from India and it seems to be the same pattern). Observation: These fields (Family Name, Given Name) should also be the same as it's registered for your CIC account (you probably can check your current permit to see if it matches).

- For "Current country or territory of residence": the "from" and "to" should match the date of "issue" and "expiration" of your work permit. If you had 2 work permits in sequence, it should be the date of issue of the first work permit and the date of expiration of the second work permit (and you should do a note about it in your letter of explanation, and also attach the old work permit photocopy besides the current work permit). Observation: A coop work permit wouldn't be included in this logic as you would be a "student" and not a "worker" with that permit. An example of 2 work permits in sequence, is 2 post-graduation work permit because the person had an old passport that wouldn't allow him/her to take the 3 years post graduation work permit [so the first wp goes until the expiry date of first passport, and the second wp attached to the new passport goes until the person completes the total of 3 years of post graduation work].

- For "National Identity Document" it shouldn't be the Canadian Driver's License. It should a national document from India (even if it doesn't have an expiry date, in this case you just let the "Expiry date" in blank and you make a note about that in your letter of explanation). If you don't have a national document in India, you can say that you don't have a national identity document and let this section in blank.

Observation1: if you have a national identity document from India you would add the information here, and attach a photocopy of the document and a certified translation. Googling about it, it seems there's a document that can be considered national Id https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_identification_number | https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aadhaar | also a video about filling the form:

Observation2: if you use the Driver's License, and have a correct passport information in the form, there shouldn't be any issue even if the officer consider the Driver's License not a correct national Id (this is my impression, I don't have an official information about that, but I already used Driver's License for national Id for a TRV application and it was approved, and I also used this information in my PR application and the documents were accepted).

- For "Details of Intended Work In Canada". Make sure to select "Open Work Permit", and it would be correct the rest seems correct. However, what kind of PR application have u done? If it's through a Provincial Nomination, you would need to select the "Province" and the "City" as well and check "yes" for item number 8 (Have u been issued a certificate...).

- For "Education". On "Field and level of study" I would fill "Business, College Diploma" but I don't think it's wrong the way you have filled (maybe it seems a little strange to say 2 years college diploma, and there's no 2 years in the "from" / "to" fields).

- For "Employment". Move item 2 to first position, and item 1 to second position. Your most recent job should be the first entry.

- For "Background Information" item 2-d. It seems correct to me the way you did (maybe just a semicolon or comma to separate the first application from the second). I would fill like "Study Permit issued yyyy-mm-dd (application number), Work Permit yyyy-mm-dd (application number)" because I have more other application to quote.

- For the "Signature". I'm not sure you typed your name in the Signature spot. If yes, you should let it in blank because before you submit the documents there will be an option to do a digital signature through their website in the cic portal.

Anyway, if you can have some professional look into your forms I would advise to do it just to make sure you have your forms and your "Letter of Explanation + documents attached" pretty good to go and you can have more "peace of mind". I would recommend this immigration consulting company https://jpimmigration.com/ (I asked them to revise my full application before I submit it online, and I believe it had a very fair price).
