Not sure if you have got the letter by this time.

I would suggest to raise a RTI (Right to information) to the PF commissioner and get it done. You need to constantly follow up to get it sooner. In my case it took a month to get the letter.
Hi,
It means you tried via RTI to get the PF balance amount letter from PF commissioner?

Hey Folks,
Bumping this thread with this comment. I have received an ITA and my EPFO office is the Bandra (Mumbai) one I suppose. I would like to know from any one who has applied for PR most recently by showing EPF as PoF?

Additionally, is the PF account statement downloaded directly from EPFO website sufficient or do we need to get the letter from the PF commissioner, secondly does the PF commissioners office even issue such letters anymore?

Please help me identify the best way to utilise my EPF funds as PoF in my PR application.

Hi All,
I am planning to submit my study permit application via "Online Non - SDS" category. However, I am not able to see any fields to upload my "Educational Transcripts" and "Language score" under "Non - SDS" category where as in the "SDS" sections its available. Should I attach the same under "Letter of Explanation" field or is it not required for "Non-SDS" category ?

Any suggestions and advises would be highly appreciated. Thanks In Advance.

Ok Great. If you possible, could you please share a format of "Work Experience Reference" letter here, the same way you shown the PF letter. Just want to understand format. Thanks.
Hi Vipin,..... have you received the reference letters from employer? Could you please help with the format.

You need to get letter from your epfo office
Hi Amreeta, thanks for your feedback. I did manage to get a PF balance certificate from my EPFO office. I have a few followup questions for being able to use these funds in my Express entry application as PoF:
  1. Did you mention explicitly in a letter of explanation on the eligibility of using your EPF funds? To be specific, did you mention the point like - employee provident funds are available for withdrawal by an individual before they migrate to another country for employment of immigration?
This point is mentioned in the document titled "Employees' Provident Funds Scheme, 1952" within section 69.c on the EPF website: https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_docs/PDFs/Downloads_PDFs/EPFScheme.pdf

  2. Can you confirm if your Employee Provident Fund (EPF) balance certificate was accepted by IRCC when you used it as PoF in your application?
  3. I have funds available for my EE application in the form of FD and a gift deed from my parents. I intend to show this EPF balance as excess funds available for my use. I am hoping this will be alright, and there is no harm to show excess funds available?
Thank you in advance for any feedback.
