Y'all giving yourselves high blood pressure over something you can neither control nor change. Do your parts and stop bickering over who's right/wrong or more deserving than the other. Everyone whose profile got accepted is deserving otherwise you wouldn't have a profile. If today (hypothetically) Canada decided to invite 50,000 people y'all would be here toastinh to each other. I do not care if it is a CEC or an FSW dude getting an ITA. I did a lot of hard work and I desperately need an ITA. Simple as that.
Pessimistic dudes here often quote "unemployment" to create aversion among individuals towards migrating to Canada but that is not exactly the case.
Apart from aviation, hotel, tourism, and shopping, other industries have bounced back strong and doing really well now.
So things are slowly taking shape, Vaccine is in human trial III and in 6 months from now, the world will be in a way better position.
More than all, if you could make a detailed study on why Canada (Liberals, Conservatives, and other parties) prioritize immigration (Skilled particularly) is because of the aging population and low birth rate (as of 2019's report) which provokes Canada to have continuous immigration.
Moreover, the immigration minister who announced the immigration targets would have consulted with their opposition and only after all parties approving, the minister made a public announcement.
So a big no to dudes quoting Unemployment, Corona, and other reasons to ward off positive applicants.
This Wednesday or after 2 weeks FSW draw is happening. When they can process Visitor Visa, Work Permit, Spousal Open Work Permit, Dependant Visa, TRV from India, there is every possibility that this Wednesday might be an FSW draw. Also, it must be noted that most CECs are already flushed from the pool and even in the recent interview, the immigration minister is hopeful of bringing SKILLED IMMIGRANTS from overseas.
So let us wait. If not this month, it will be next month. No IELTS and no ECA happening directly equates to lesser and lesser candidates getting into the pool. So FSW army, just chill and relax. If you are in the pool with a safe score (460 and above), you are getting it fellas! You are getting it!

Just as an FYI - that's not how it works. Opposition parties do not have to be consulted or provide approval on immigration targets. Liberals set these on their own.
I can second this. I am an FSW candidate, in the pool, and know that general draws are not gonna resume anytime soon.

I am 28 years old. Australia is much more expensive than Canada for international students.
I would advise that you either study french or go for a two years masters degree. How come you have 456 when you are only 28 though? You have only one degree?
