Rely to your immigration office since they are the one who processed all your documents. I did DIY (do it yourself) through online that's why everytime I received mails from IRCC I can directly check to my gckey account.

Whatever the IRCC e-mail updates send to your immigration office then your immugration office must be responsible to update you as well. Original passport request directly from Canadian Embassy.
yes sis, goodluck. I just ask one of my friend in canada if we are ok to apply for PR once we arrived there , she said its ok to apply to new pathway even without 24 months exp as long as all the requirements and documents for new pathway is ready. ( eca and ielts )
Even the application was submitted last November? My medical assessment was done last January.
I follow up the hospital wherein my medical held and requested them to send me the copy as well thru e-mail.
Be patient. UAE processing it takes time but worth it as long as you provided all the documents they needed from you. You mean you're done with your medical? Do you have gckey account to see/check your application updates?
My immigration consultant applied it on my behalf that is why I am unable to check the status. Its just too awful without getting updates to know the status of my application. That’s why I am checking if it is classified that visa processing are still currently on hold except for essential jobs eh CGs. My NOC is 6311 Food Service Supervisor.
This is from IRCC Official Twitter Channel I believe they are processing now but any visa being approve onwards they are clear that traveling is still restricted unless those who are exempted.

Was it upfront or requested? Usually, when it is requested, it is a good sign. However, some people on this forum received medical request and still got their visa refused. No one really knows.
