Don't be insensitive. Draws would happen for sure but they owe it to Canadians not to put their lives at avoidable risks.

Visa application Centers VAC are closed in india untill 30 September, no visa stamping or offline visa submissions untill this time. So those who are waiting for their copr and visas to be stamped it’s a disappointment and for students for September batch. Maybe this is an indication of travel restrictions to be extended untill September

Even if they apply online, they need to get their passport stamped once approved. VFS won't open till the Canadian Consulate is back to full strength. No point in taking applications and keeping it with themselves. And looking at the situation in few countries where Covid is still not in control, they won't be rushing to open their consulates.

Beside the travel restriction, there are lots of inland FSW candidates too, there is no way that CIC can identify inland and outland applicants? Some people changed to visitor record but it is going to expiry and we all waiting right now.

The current system suggests that if they do have the capability, they are not using it in their criteria for draws. If you are asking whether they are able to sort FSWs by Inland and Outland, then the answer is yes

You are right, It’s very tough time for all FSWs, only thing we can do is waiting waiting waiting.

If they decide to close borders for the long term i.e. 1 year or more then I believe they will figure out a way to have inland FSW draws
