Canada has more teachers than job generally speaking. Canada is not a good job market for teachers.

BC has a teacher shortage. I was able to easily find a teaching job. You will need to have your qualifications assessed though and become certified by the Teacher Regulation Branch. It takes quite a while (1 year for me) so I would say start working on it asap.
