LMIA-Exempt work permit applied for New Brunswick in Jan 2020 through VFS Dubai.
On spot biometrics given.
Since that time there is no update.
Also unable to link my VFS application to my online GCKey account, the system is unable to find my application.
Wrote to Abu Dhabi VO, They replied saying that the application is within the normal processing times and is under process.
Ordered GCMS on May 31st, still waiting to receive it.

Sitting without an update since then

Timeline:
Applied March 20th.
Waiting for biometrics.
Notified by lawyer that no cases have been processed around the world as of June 27th since mid March.

I believe VFS is open now in Abu Dhabi? Did you get a Biometric Request letter?

In Background check since Nov 2019, got last update in Feb20 that it was still in background check, after that no update.

June 01, 2020- Emedical uploaded by the hospital

June 03, 2020- Medical passed

June 22, 2020- Comfirmation letter passed to VO Auh

June 25, 2020- Received additional documents

June 29, 2020- Biometric validity

June 30, 2020- Final decision made: APPROVED!

I received all the updates through my gckey account and via e-mails from IRCC. I applied DIY through online.

Oh all I thought you are the one who sent it sis. I just received today morning a message that my passport was already delivered in Canadian Embassy. Hopefully maximum 10 working days.
