On my CoPR it says 'If you leave Canada' without a permanent resident card, you will have to apply for a permanent resident travel document through a visa office. Otherwise, you will not be able to board a commercial vehicle(plane,train,bus or boat) to come back to Canada.' So my understanding is the border will let you in, but you will have difficulties to travel on a plane.

Not sure how to re confirm, IRCC refer to this link, my tickets are booked, I have got a travel authorisation email from IRCC Based on workpermit so hopefull I will be ok

I'm FSW-O, AOR 22 Nov, and last week they responded to my webform saying eligibility was still in progress, and security wasn't initiated, so we are in similar situations. It's frustrating, but I'm hoping they'll figure things out re: COVID delays, and that processing speed will increase.

I am FSW- Inland , Nov 4, mine GCMS notes said final approved in May, I raised a web form now they are saying medical is expired, require reassessment

Only if you are from a visa exempt country you won’t need PRTD. But if you are from a country that requires visa then you need a PRTD to travel.
