October 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi Freinds,
Single Applicant- Toronto
I got AOR on Oct 25 2019.
Got invite for fingerprints in Dec 6 2019.Sent the Fingerprints around Dec 16th 2020
Haven't heard back from CIC and no Test invite yet.
I called up CIC callcentre, they said ok you should hear something in Mar 2020 but still no Test invite.
Is anyone having same scenario, how long will it take to get citizenship from here?
Not sure if CIC is processing citizenship applications

All tests are on hold since March. They are not issuing any new invitation due to COVID-19.

If you see the spreadsheet 2019 many people got the test invite in Mar 2020 and and wrote the test, Not sure if the office is open now

In the beginning of the month, yes. After the 14th, if I’m not mistaken, all tests were cancelled. But you can call IRCC and confirm.

I have no idea of how they are operating during this pandemic. Didn’t try to call them.

I called them in Apr 2020, they informed all was ok you should see the test invite soon but no confirmed date.
Do you think this will go beyond 2020?

Hope not! Last time I called was in Feb and heard the same thing... but I don’t expect a test invite until most of restrictions are lifted. Don’t think they will do tests while only 10 people are allowed in the same room.

—complete photo copy of my latest passport

I was in USA before so I had lot of entry and exit but road borders don’t stamp passports so he mentioned me that he will order the records from Canada Border and will be in touch with me(that was March )

but anyways looks like they are working in office not sure about Oath..

They requested physical mail copy not digital and I am local anyways I kind of pass that building everyday.

I wounder why they requested this I know he said he will order entry/exit record from Canada Border

kind of worries me

it will be fine I know this USA entry exit are not stamped that’s the problem, but I know I am clear

oh I also provided my i94 records from USA border during interview which he appreciated to have one.

I94 should be fine but when you enter canada do they stamp the passport? Or is it a system entry?
