Andd in 6 months or maybe a bit more or less, an FSW can also be in Canada and working, contributing to the economy, paying taxes, studying and paying tuition, etc.

So there's no point saying CECs are unique to this.

And let's be honest, most CECs are doing some rinky dink, cheap diploma just to get into the country.

If you're doing a 3 year bachelor's degree or higher, sure. But most of you aren't.

It was not otherwise they would have mentioned it clearly. I also think you just need a minimum CLB7 in French to qualify for OINP French stream, first or second language doesn't matter. Such a waste they keep inviting low scoring candidates otherwise you could have gotten one if your CRS fell within their range.

We are in the same boat, Samirsam. IRCC does not show any empathy to inland FSWs, either. They even told invitees who are potentially unable to complete 1 year of Canadian experience upon AORs to decline their ITAs. So the rule is quite hard: almost CEC means no CEC.

Hi Igethope, have you scored above NCLC 7 in all four categories of your French test? I'm qualified only in FSW as well. I was hoping once I've succeeded in scoring above 7 in all categories, an Ontatrio French Speaking nomination would be a backup plan for me if Federal draw is still limited to CEC by then. It seems now even that is not feasible if OINP is also CEC exclusive.

OINP has a specific draw for french class . People whose primary language is French and not their secondary. Moreover it also have to be in an in-demand NOC.

Oh, I didn't know that in this program French had to be the first language, nor about the in-demand NOC requirement. Would you please share a link to these specified requirements from Ontario's immigration site if you don't mind? I'm not able to locate them. Would appreciate it.

Thanks for the link! I've gone through the content of Ontario Immigration Act from the page listed above, but I don't think that French as the primary language or a in-demand NOC is mentioned as a requirement under French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream. Anyone could correct me if I got it wrong.
