Hello - when the checklist asks if the sponsor has ever been sponsored for permanent residence, they are referring to Canada, correct?

I'm a Canadian citizen, and my wife sponsored me to come to the U.S.A. on a K-1 visa, so I've been sponsored to come to the USA, but I was born a Canadian citizen. I'm assuming that the question doesn't apply to me, but I'm just making darned sure.

Let me know. Thanks!

Yes - they are referring to being sponsored to Canada. Question doesn't apply to you since you were born here.
