Unfortunately within Canada there isn’t an alternativate, we must wait for the reopening.

They are probably In the midst of planning and modifying the existing service centers so that they adhere to the new public safety measures. It may take sometime.

Hopefully we hear some announcements soon!
Fortunately there is particular office in Edmonton, Alberta where I did my biometrics couple weeks ago. Results were mailed within 2 weeks.

If you are talking about RCMP that’s different. Biometrics collection for the general application are only completed at a service Canada as per the BIL and currently all offices are closed. So please don’t confuse people (you pay an $85 fee when you submit your eAPR for this)

It's my representative who did everything. I was requested to apply for PCC and biometrics, which I did. If I didn't get the right biometric, my consultant would have told me before submitting the application.

Update:
AOR 22 April
BIL June 12 for both me and spouse

I have 2 questions:

-My spouse have done biometric for our Pnp application last year, they applied it here as well. As they send BIL for her, Do she still need to do it?

-Our medical status did not change to pass. At the time of application, my medical was valid for 5 months, and my spouse's 5 months 28 days- expiring in September and October 2020, respectively. Do you guys think they need a fresh medical for both of us that's why they did not recommended pass. if Yes, why they did not request it?

Thank you

Apparently there has been few people reporting that they got BIL but the medicals haven’t passed yet and if i am correct it’s may be because it’s not been 2 months from your aor ...it is usually when they update about medical my aor is april 25 if get any update i will let you know ...so far i haven’t got any update yet

CEC Inland Applicant

ITA - March 23, 2020
Medical - April 22, 2020
e-APR - April 22, 2020
AOR - April 22, 2020

I will need Biometrics so my app will be stuck there for a bit. Hopefully SC re-opens in May or they go back like it was before (no needed for inland)...

Good luck everyone!

Got Bil request and medical update. But biometrics won't open anytime soon due to physical contact risk and application from end of feb are still hanging around due to no biometrics.
