Hi everyone this is rahul I am stuck with a problem I hope I find a solution from you guys.

I have been working as a mechanical engineer since past 4 years in an industry (not a private ltd or a Ltd company so I can’t be able to take any loan from any banks) and I am planning to move to Canada on a PR visa. Regarding job I am fully satisfied but the pay scale which I am getting is very much low not even 15K/M and I had received an offer from amazon CS (Work from home) and I have a good pay around 25K/M .

My challenge here is whether I should drop my mechanical engineer career and go for customer service role for money and loan eligibility or just stay in the same field and continue apply for PR ?

Will my Career get disturbed if I gain a customer service experience and after reaching Canada I try to apply to mechanical engineer job postings?

thank you..... so my primary job role will be a mechanical engineer only since I had worked in it for 4 years and for earning money I can shift from it for a particular period of time, and when am back in Canada with the PR I can still get a job as a mechanical engineer

I don't see why not.
Although you might not be able to call yourself an Engineer as it's a reglemented profession by province.

Yes, you have to go through the accreditation and licensing process in order to be one, but as long as you have the academic and professional background, it should be fine.
