You should not have a shared house. Your situation is likely going to be an issue unless your host is willing to remain at home for 14 days as well.
I don't think it would not be an issue if @saad_im gonna use private room and a private bathroom with online deliveries for food. If the house is big enough then it should not matter. He should be clear enough to convince officer that he will not come into contact with anyone in his stay for 14 days. I am thinking of those who have travelled to Canada and quarantined themselves in the same house(separate room) where their immediate family member(s) lives.

Unwilling is added due to Corona risk while travelling. International flights in India will resume once it's safe to travel and spreading of virus is contained. At that time this unwillingness to travel due to risk getting infected while travelling might not be that conclusive for getting an extension. If unwillingness if due to some other reasons then it could be a different story.
Hi,
Thanks a lot for all your help. I am in a big dilemma now.
In fact I had booked our tickets to saskatoon for April for soft landing and flights got cancelled. The cost of all five members for the air tickets was quite high and the air lines says the refund would take beyond august. The airport is not fully operational yet here and the airline doesnt have flights eaither. Seems like they would resume flights in August. Then booking before september after that , still without the refund is next to impossible. There would be a big demand for the tickets and would cost a fortune for the five of us.
And tratravelling with my kids is risky too. And that's why canada has all these quarantine requirements still in place. It's trouble toi for us as we dont have any contacts in saskatoon.
So what can we do bros.... Please share your thoughts and help.

I don't know which carrier you opted for your travel but when flight gets cancelled then you can rescheduled the booking with same carrier to a later point of time without any cost. I have rescheduled my travel with Air Canada three times with same booking on every flight cancellations free of cost. Unfortunately I could not fly due to international travel ban and my CoPR got expired. *drum rolls*

For your stay what you would have planned if there were no Corona situation? You can go for same option here too. Airbnb for a month and online groceries? I am just providing options. If you can rebook the flight with same carrier prior to your CoPR expiry on same booking reference then whats the harm in travelling? If you cant rebook or no flights available at that time then I believe this is the valid reason for your inability to travel that you can mention in your webform for CoPR extension. Wait till Aug to get some clarity I would advise.

There could be other options too. There are experts here in this thread, those can help you out.

Dear Abdulgafar,

no need to apologize at all, would love to answer your questions.

1. It took me around 45 minutes. Initially i thought it would take longer, but the border control was efficient and called in more staff to help out which sped up the process.

2. I saw many kids on board. I don't personally have any kids, but i can tell you that it was alright. The crew was extremely helpful and efficient. (The day i flew was the day many EK employees were laid off... i could sense a bit of sadness but they were absolutely brilliant as always on EK).

3. Nope, they didn't ask for ANYthing for me. which was strange. Just the address for my PR card.

4. Yes i did, i gave my relatives number and details. SIM card won't be available at the airport as most of it was closed (unless it opens up in the coming week... which does seem like the plan for some places in Canada).

Wish you the best, feel free to reach out anytime.
Awesome! Thanks a lot!

PR card processing essentially stopped in March. There are some posts on the subject but think they are still processing February and maybe early March.

Very risky. It is unrealistic not to enter the kitchen for 14 days. Will the person have their own refrigerator, ability to take out their own garbage, wash dishes? Not realistic to get takeout food for every meal with no place to store leftovers, drinks, etc. especially during the summer.

Quarantine rules will be in place for a very long time. Canada may actually be a safer place for your family. Extensions will not go on forever. People will need to travel while covid is still around. If countries are no longer in lockdown and flights are running the unwilling part of the extension request may no longer be an option at a certain point. Your family will not qualify for an extension until your COPRs expires. You should wait and see what is happening in the world over the next months and try to rebook your flight. It seems as though you may have been given a rebooking credit. CIC is still telling people to travel if they can. If you applied for SINP and got PR through the program you are expected to try and resettle in SK or you can lose your PR. It is easy to book a hotel or AirBnB from abroad and there are delivery options for all your food or supplies. Community organizations are even willing to pick up grocery orders if delivery is not available. It is too early to decide what will happen in such a fluid situation.
