PCC Clearance taking too long

Hello Everyone,

I submitted my documents for PCC through BLS.

But the duration to get the PCC is taking too long.

I have to submit all my documents before June 23rd.

Is there any way we can escalate the request and get PCC a bit early?

How did you send it? Via Canada Post or Purolator?

After that it took 20 business days to arrive the physical PCC.

Were you able to track your application on Indian passport website with the application number or it will just update on BLS site?

Yh it's normal process because of COVID,

No i wasn;t able to track my application process on website

I am in the same boat too, I have submitted my documents through BLS on May 01 and I got an email from Indian Embassy on 26 May that my PCC Documents have been sent to the concerned Police department. Not sure how long it would take.

Police Officer has completed his verification at my address in India. So, I am expecting to see an update sometime soon.

I got a call from my parents that the officer was at our residence for verification. No changes as of yet in the status

So, in the email they have mentioned two addresses one is for area headquarters and other for local (thana), do you have any idea who is responsible for verification and to whom I can contact just in case?

I've submitted my application for PCC on april 21st and got a physical pcc May 19th.

When did you submitted PCC documents to bls ?

Can somebody explain me the process of obtaining pcc from India. I’m from Calgary and BLS offices here are closed. So now the documents have to be couriered via mail to BLS torronto/ Vancouver or India?
