Hi, i just checked cic site, it says that processing time starts on application when they receive the application in their mailroom, does that mean that the time during which file number is being issued is included in it, i mean we applied via atlantic pilot program, so 6 months includes everything....like time to issue file number and final desicion or no. Thanks

Processing time estimates are from the time the application is received. However pretty much all processing has slowed down right now due to COVID-19 so you should be anticipating processing will take longer than six months.

Meaning after the file number is officially issued? Or they notify us that they received our file package as i applied via mail.
