Nothing changed, the reply only mentioned that application is currently in background check, IRCC will contact when the decision on application is made or any further documents needed. Thats it.

The last update that I received was March 17. 2020. I passed the medical. No updates till now. We both are on the last step... Hope we receive the final decision. I have been waiting for over a year now. I don't know how much longer do I have to wait.

Were on background checking for now then we will receive their final decision hopefully soon, but before that I think they will gonna send us biometric correspondence letter. We're almost in the finish line. Mine will turn to 11 months on 15th June. We need to be more patient and pray harder. Hope for the best outcome.

I applied for gcms notes.. to get the exact information on the file.. have read sometimes if there is no movement on the file since long this is the best thing to do.. hope it gets a positive result.

Done my medical on May 26, 2020 got an update in my status on June 3, 2020 which is medical passed.

The Hospital wherein I had my medical emailed me the result after 6 days. Through my gckey account I can checked there the update of my application status.

I applied for canada work permit in Abudhabi online on 24 Feb 2019 and Biometrics on 27 Feb 2019. Still waiting for Decision.

Hi,

I applied online work permit on 19-Feb-2019, from Consultant in Canada via Canadian Embassy in UAE.
Biometrics done on 24-Feb-2019 from Qatar , That time the processing time was 19 weeks from Qatar.
Now its showing 23 weeks, I am in process of 18 weeks still no any updates e.g Medical request etc, I submitted all the relevant documents which supports to application except medical was not the required one at the time of submission.

Can some one inform Noc 7241, need medical ? or I have to give medical what ever the NOC code would be ? as i applied from Qatar ?

Nope its intra company transfer WP.
