The search is over! Booga Food Equipment Ltd. is thrilled to officially offer you the Junior Core and Coil Designer position.
This is a contract based, non-exempt position. You are entitled to overtime pay as a non-exempt employee. Your employment with Booga Food Equipment Ltd. will begin on Monday, 7 December, 2020. We’d like you to arrive at the office by 9 a.m. You’ll be greeted by Olivia Wong, Head of Recruitment.
Contract Term
This is a Contract of Employment offered for a term of Two Years, Indicating contract ends on Wednesday, 7 December, 2022.
Remuneration
Your Monthly salary is $ 2610 in and as referred to net pay following all necessary deductions. You will be paid on a monthly basis by check or direct deposit on the 1st of each month.
Overtime earrings will be paid on fortnight basis by check or direct deposit. (Fortnight reflects a count of two weeks)
Rate and Overtime Work Period
Our weekly hours of work are set at 42, with daily hours set at either 8 or 10, plus any reasonable additional hours that are necessary to fulfil your duties or as otherwise required by your superior. As a non-exempt employee, you are entitled to overtime pay, 1 and 1/2 times the employee's regular rate of pay - for hours in excess of 12.00 hours/day or 42.00 hours/week (average amount cannot be more than 8 hours per day or 42 hours per week during the averaging period)
Break Period
If worked 6 hours or more per day you will be allowed for 1/2 hour every consecutive 5 hours worked.
Rest Period
8.00 hours between shifts where no emergency situations exist
The company doesn’t require employees to work or to be available for work for more than 44 hours per week without the employee’s consent. An employer can require an employee to work extended hours in unusual or unexpected circumstances, or in an emergency.
Leave
You will be eligible for three weeks of paid vacation leave per year. Paid time off is additional to sick days, bank holidays and days that the company does not operate.
Annual leave loading is not applicable under this agreement.
You will be entitled to standard federal holidays, plus 80 hours of paid time off (PTO), which can be used at your discretion.
You are entitled to additional unpaid career’s leave of up to 3 days per occasion if an immediate Family or household member requires care or support because of a personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency.
Member has died or you need to spend time with a seriously ill family member. Each application will be assessed individually by your Manager.
Position
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation / regulations.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Operate or tend wire-coiling machines to wind wire coils used in electrical components such as resistors and transformers, and in electrical equipment and instruments such as bobbins and generators.
Review work orders and specifications to determine materials needed and types of parts to be processed.
Select and load materials such as work pieces, objects, and machine parts onto equipment used in coiling processes.
Stop machines to remove completed components, using hand tools.
Apply solutions or paints to wired electrical components, using hand tools; and bake components.
Disassemble and assemble motors, and repair and maintain electrical components and machinery parts, using hand tools.
Record production and operational data on specified forms. Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation, and coils, using hand tools.
Cut, strip, and bend wire leads at ends of coils, using pliers and wire scrapers.
Examine and test wired electrical components such as motors, armatures, and stators, using measuring devices; and record test results.
Line slots with sheet insulation, and insert coils into slots.
Training
Company has a policy of providing ongoing paid training and development for all staff. Training will be provided for specific tasks and specific projects as required and is designed to maintain the currency of your skills and facilitate further skills growth and development. Your training and development will predominantly be based from your development plan as derived from and in association with performance review processes. Training and development activities will be constrained by your training budget allowance.

You will be entitled for travel fare or equivalent for Business travels - if your profile requires any travel. Mobile, Internet and Local Conveyance shall be paid out as per the company policy after considering the role and nature of work (applicable for you).
Accommodation with Meals
You will be entitled to stay at company worker houses. Allocations are based upon the age of an employee wherein
Arrangement 1: 21 – 35 Age (3 beds)
Arrangement 2: 36 – 45 Age (2 beds)
For safety and security reason no personnel stay requests will be accepted.
Company provides you with three course meal plan plus snack
Breakfast: Vegetarian and Non vegetarian supplies
Lunch: Vegetarian and Non vegetarian supplies
Snack Break: Vegetarian and Non vegetarian supplies
Dinner: Vegetarian and Non vegetarian supplies
Without Accommodation
You will have to make a separate Request for "Live-Out", so that you can get your HRA and "TA" (if you don't want to use company transportation). You will bear all the cost for bringing your family, which may be deducted from your Salary.
