Here's a short, sweet, random question.

I discovered yesterday that I'm an Irish Citizen (!), making me a British-Irish dual national. I intend to declare this on my PR application (SCLPC class). Assuming I'm successful, which nationality will appear on my PR card? Will both appear? Will this have an effect on which passport I use to enter Canada in the future?

No, they won't both appear. It will be whichever citizenship you list first. No effect on travel; you can use whichever passport you want.
