I’m a student at McGill University. In my first term I was registered for 15 credits and I paid for all of them, however, I got sexually assaulted and this caused lots of distress to me. I was also just 17 years old, so I was a child in the country where I didn’t know anyone. I withdrew from most of classes in first term but still kept one class and was studying got 3 credits in fall. Winter I got full credits. It still shows that I was registered for these classes In fall, I had extensions for fall classes till the end of winter term, so I only withdrew from these classes in winter term, therefore, it was retroactively withdrawal. Just to clarify, withdrew from Fall classes in March, so not even in fall. I withdrew from them few days after the sexual assault situation happened to me. In fall I just got extensions for classes but many students do that. I have a proof that I withdrew right after the incident happened.
No breaks during the terms. After that, I have always been full time in all my terms. I haven’t worked during that first term. I also have notes from the hospital from the doctor about the sexual assault. more than anything, I want to get PGWP, however I am scared that I will get rejected. I know that I have a strong reason for that and that I wasn’t working or just using Canada to live there. I literally paid for these classes and didn’t drop them but got withdrawal later on due to the sexual assault. What do you think? I need to know my chances and what to do

You explained fine and no one can tell you what your chances will be.
I completely understand no one can guarantee anything. However, people still ask so that’s why this thread exists to get opinions and advices. I was looking for similar situations, opinions on my situation. I wasn’t looking for 100% certain answer
