Yes. Most of us did, up until March 10.
My timeline is:
Delivered/Received Feb.24
AOR: Mar.6
Processing: Mar.8
Background check: Apr.17
Basically for us Outland February, there hasnt been any movement since March 10th-ish because of covid.
Seems like it has started to move a little since you mention BG Check started April 17. What office is handling your file?
Hi, did you get any email notification for your bgc? Also, did you get sponsor approval and medical and biometric request? My file was also received on feb 24 and aor on 7th March but it’s so strange no one had any update on their file with aor before yours in Sydney after March 13th.
File in Sydney.
On April 16 i signed in to check a msg from TVR..checked on sponsorship as well.
The next day which was Apr17 i signed in to upload document to TRV, and noticed Sponsoship background check started.
*i did received a notice in my email about an update but when i check i wasnt seeing anything msgs in my account. I figured it was just the stat that changed.
NB: another member on here had the same update a while back too.

Super strange since I checked the tracker and no one seemed to have any update before yours after March 13th. Maybe because you had applied for TRV? But the BGC status is “We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.“ for everyone since Day 1. Did you have a different update? Hope they start processing applications consistently!
Thats what it says now "we are processing your background check...."
Before Apri17 it said "we will send you a msg when we start processing your bckgd check..."
FYI: Not everyone on here updates/uses the tracker. I dont. I only check it once per week to see if theres any changes in stats.
Oh okay. That’s good to know then that the applications are being worked on in Sydney even if it’s not updated on the tracker

I had sent them a webform about my situation, and my husbands situation and how covid affecting us. I am a nurse and here with our 3 kids. I also sent a webform recently about getting bio and medicals requests, so that my husband doesnt have to travel twice to VAC country. It takes 3 planes to get there and 3/4 to ger back home..etc.
Anyways, i pray everyday for all of us here waiting to be reunited with our spouses and/or kids. May the force be with us.

Yes, hope this distance ends soon for all of us. It’s frustrating to see no update by Sydney for the majority of us since the last 2 months now!! And also, thank you for everything you and your colleagues have been doing in this extremely tough situation!
