I hope so. I received a call from IRCC headquarters in the last week of May, and the agent said she'd talk to her manager if the processing can be expedited. Received another call a day later and was informed that it could take from 4 to 8 more weeks for them to reach a decision.

Canadian citizen here - arrived in the country as a teen - only child - father deceased in Canada when he's 47 - working in an engineering field - have a one year college certificate - 2 year college diploma - 3 year college diploma - a bachelors degree in engineering - a masters degree in engineering - all of these credentials are Canadian. Never been out of Canada ever since coming here as a teen.

Keeping my fingers crossed. Can't lose another parent now.

Hi everyone! I’m pretty new here. I also applied for humanitarian. Can anybody share some experience? I applied october of 2018, finally after 19 months, it moved to in process. Not sure what to expect from here, if I checked my app on line, it still shows that they sent me the aor, nothing yet after it went to in process. No biometrics requested yet. Anybody has some insights? Thanks everyone!

If they call you it means it’s good sign I heard 90% cases approved when agent call you sure keep ur fingers crossed mighty god with be with you

Not sure, I checked on Friday April 24th and was just “Received” but my husband checked on Wednesday 29th and told me that is “In Process”
What about yours?

3. We started processing your application on April 12, 2019.
4. We sent you medical instructions on April 12, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received on May 2, 2019.
6. AIP on JUN 27, 2019.
7. DM on FEP 25, 2020
8. You entered Canada at the Etobicoke IRCC office on May 7, 2020 and became a Permanent Resident.

I checked it Sunday and it says in process, last I checked it, it still says app received.

And guys, anyone here that has dependent/s? How does it work? I included my daughter on my app, but they returned the app fee, is she included? Or do we have to apply again if (fingers crossed) if my app/pr is granted. I have the idea that once I gained pr status, that she’s included already as a dependent. Thanks guys!

You will get it for sure. U will get your AIP between now and next week in the name of Jesus. Amen. I just prayed for you. Mine was in process on the 6th of this month and I got AIP on the 12th

I think there’s no rules for processing file because someone people get AIP with in 18 months some people over 2 years no news. How they finalize file I don’t know?
