Today i did the process of Bls for PCC. But then I had one doubt for this whole process. I only got one label for printing and also the Purolator guy said that they will only use one envelope and where not gonna put one extra for them to return it, he also didn't let me come in the store, said he will do everything and took the documents from me. Just wanted to know if was it the same for all you guys.?
Per my understanding, you have to send return courier envelope with pasted shipping label or book thru BLS so that they have return label avialable in their system to return your documents. But do not worry, BLS would reach out to you, and you may have to send if required by them. Or, you can call Purolator and confirm if they booked thru BLS VAS and charged you for both pick up and drod off. If yes then you should be all set. If not then still I guess you can go to https://www.blsindia-canada.com/vas/ and purchase one dropoff label mentioning your passport number. Did you went to Purolator office? Or they came to your address for pick up.

I got email response from BLS on the courier. Below is the response:

"You may either call our customer care number as mentioned on the website(www.blsindia-canada.com) to book pick-up and drop-off courier service or you may send the complete application set (please refer to the checklist) through BLS authorized courier service -PUROLATOR (track-able registered post) along with the application fee & return courier fee in form a bank draft or money order (further details mentioned in the checklist). "

  • Processing of Visa Applications at BLS Centers has been temporarily suspended, as per Ministry guidelines.
  • Passport, OCI, PCC Applications are being accepted only through mail/post.
  • BLS Walk-in Application Centers are Closed due to COVID-19. Applicants need to Call BLS Call Center to book the Pick-up & Drop off service for submitting Passport, OCI, PCC and Surrender/Renunciation Applications.
  • Only BLS authorized courier service (Purolator) can reach the BLS Quarantined Postal Hubs which can ONLY BE BOOKED THROUGH BLS CALL CENTER.
  • Any Other Courier/ Mail delivery would Not reach BLS Quarantined Postal Hubs and BLS would Not be responsible for such applications.
  • The applications are accepted only at the below mentioned centers
  • Processing time is longer than usual due to high postal volume and also because of applications being quarantined at both BLS location and at the Consulate.

I really don't know about the charges. Since i had them booked on the call, they sent me purolator payment link and generating shipping labels. I amount for pickup (single label) and drop (2 labels - self+spouse) was more than 50 CAD.
Thanks @jpshya I submitted the details on BLS VAS link for pick up and drop off. There was a field called "Service" to select from dropdown. I chose Passport as I could not find PCC option there. Other options were not looking suitable. I got payment link in an email with subject line "BLS Online Payment Link of Your PASSPORT" Can you please confirm whether you also recieved payment email link with same subject or different. This will confirm whether the Service selection opted was correct or not.

My documents delivered to BLS on Wednesday but till now no update. Please let me know if u got any update?

Yes the email i received had this subject "BLS Online Payment Link of Your PASSPORT".

Did you recieved Return shipping label as well? And did you sent these labels with the application?
I purchased online by my own as I could not able to reach to BLS customer care. I made the payment however, I did not recieved any label to send with the application. After i made payment in BLS online payment link, i got an email with subject "Purolator Pickup & Delivery Service of Your PASSPORT" with details to download label. Please remember that, i was doing the payment on call when the customer support executive was giving me instructions. So i am not sure, if he did something from his end to get the label sent to me. Your case, better to write to qc.ca@blsinternational.net and explain the stage you are stuck up. Every chance you may get a reply in a day or two. Or try calling their Brampton/Toronto – 4163072237 number every 30mins. You might be lucky to get one on call and they are normally helpful, once you get them on call.

Hi,
I have kept a return courier envelope in the pcc application I sent to BLS. So once PCC is ready, they themselves will sent it to me right? Should I call them or something ?

My status shows Ready for pickup in BLS tracking.
I have sent a return courier along with my application.Now do i need to go and pick it up or they gonna send it via courier.

Hi guys i have heard only one case where the person sent directly to CGI in toronto but in the CGI toronto website or BLS website they mentioned send the photocopies along with prepaid return enevelope(with your home address on it) to BLS brampton office located in 10 gilligham drive.And in my case i didnt sent the return enevlope but the process started from apr 20th and ready to collect by May 7th but there is no walk in strictly prohibhited(i tried)so the only option left for all is try calling as long as the person connects and once they connect to the call they will check with the name and passport number and if its ready you will be asked to pay the return postal fee of CAD30.Usually they mentioned purolator will deliver in 2business days but now the Purolator suspended the services they are focusing on regular services to clear up high volume.So the whole process atleast be ready for a month to get your PCC as of now.Some people who are lucky enough they got if faster but thats not the case with every or most of the indviduals applied through Postal.And the BLS website usually shows same updates for a while it took 4days for me to show as recieved wven though the docs delivered to their location and they send it to consulate general in toronto and after everything is done it comes back to BLS.if you have sent the return envelope i guess the puroaltor guy have to come and pick up so due to suspension of service not sure how long it will take for them to go and pick up the return envelopes from BLS.also my documents are at Purolator distribution center now and the BLS website still shows ready for collection,i guess its not updated frequently.

Mine is reached on May 6 but cant track on BLS yet

Same here, docs delivered to bls brampton on May 6th. They take around 6-8 days to open the application and than the status will change.
Wait for couple of days and we will be able to track our application.
