Hello,

I am an international student applying for Student Visa in SK, Canada. I am a citizen of India and currently residing in the US. I completed my IMM 1294 but cannot upload it for following reason:

When I upload the document it shows that my "country of nationality of your passport (online questionnaire)" and "passport - Country of issue (PDF form)" need to match. Unfortunately they do not match because my passport is the passport of India. I had renewed it few months ago from an Indian Consulate in NY and was issued one from "New York" as it shown on my passport as "Place of Issue". What should I look into?

Thanks,
Dev

Actually, The Republic of India issued you the passport from their off shore office in NY, USA. So the country of issue is India.
You should know that when you're inside the consulate of India building anywhere in the world, you're inside Indian Territory. So, the inside of consulate in NY is Indian. This is applicable to other countries as well.
