Unfortunately, some of FSW candidates had objection for taking CEC applicants during these days. This probably will have a negative impact on the draws. Then IRCC might decide not to take even CEC applicants anymore. These CEC applicants will increase their scores in the coming months, and they would be able to easily compete with FSW candidates, and this would make their job much difficult. There was no draw today.

Exactly, to be honest I'm CEC with 454, tomorrow I will have 2 years canadian experience additional points and next month I will have my master degree additional points. I feel for FSW candidates benefit, it's better the IRCC take me today with draw on my 454. Otherwise I will take the ITA in draws next month with much higher points which benefit nobody.

CEC & FSW these both types are same and none are superior to each other's which should dictates exclusivity. As a matter of fact these both types can get PR and kicked out at the same time with immigration law amendment until unless they secure citizenship. Classic example is USA. Just because they are doing CEC now doesn't mean suddenly IRCC realized CECs are superior, nor did they do FSW in the past means FSW were exclusive. Ultimately in general CRS points decides who gets in and sometimes convenience is matters also. For now the latter is applicable. Doing CEC is more convenient for IRCC with limited operations inside Canada and also because of worldwide lockdown of local VFS offices. They were already running on backlog prior COVID-19 and with lockdown of global operations it is simply common sense to do specific draws that are more convenient. I pray for everyone's good luck. Enjoy your life, don't stressed out please.

If they are the same, why FSW candidates had objection against taking CEC candidates?
