As per my company's lawyer ARV is not exempt from travel restrictions.I was planning to return using this but after confirmation from lawyer this doesn't seems to be an option.
Just FYI when I called CBP they said that AVR can indeed by currently used.
Though its probably better to go with what your immigration lawyers say, you might want to get a second opinion.

There is someone here whose application was reopened for extension after 2 days of CoPR expiry date. Maybe you can wait till next week and check you application status. If no update then raise the webform. You can ask for extension even after your CoPR expiry as per the process published by IRCC.
Mine expired on April 26 but my application is not showing opened

You can wait for 2-3 days more or you can raise a webform now. Your wish. If you are outland and in India then Canadian High Commission in India has assured to contact over email once commercial flights resume. What is the status of your Counterfoil showing in your CIC account? expired?

Mine expired on the 21st of April and the status of my Counterfoil shows "Expired". However, nothing else has changed in my account, it is still showing Approved. looks like they have not reopenned my file. I raised the Web-form on 11th of April informing I would not be able to travel and recieved generic response on the 21st like "We have received your enquiry concerning your Confirmation of Permanent Residence document that has expired or will soon expire. We are currently making additional verifications in order to respond to your request...". I have already raised 3 forms in total (one of the forms was sent to Warsaw). Shall I wait for another week?

It has only been a few business days since your expiry. Please be patient they are trying to gwt through a huge volume of webforms and give out extensions to those with expired COPRs. They are also still working with partial staffing.

Yes. They have only started to give out extensions and although people were instructed to not send multiple webforms most people did so they likely have tens of thousands of webforms to go through. It will take time.

I see, guess the only option is to ask IRCC to extend your COPR.
If you are able to land I am not sure an extension will ve granted from those traveling from the US. This will especially be the case if more businesses are open. You are not wanting to travel due to issues with your US status not Canadian status so not a reason for CIC if you are asked why you can't travel. Things are changing so quickly so who knows what the situation will be in June.

Ok, I will not then send another web-form and wait not to put pressure on them.

We still have not cracked the logic of IRCC's application processing. Every case is different. All we need is to be patient. The conclusion of my call with IRCC agent is that they are well aware of situation and are not penalizing anyone who have not travelled to Canada within their CoPR validity. Not sure if you are in India but every Visa Office is working differently and processing time may differ. Anyways be positive.

I got no concerns of travelling and I don't intend to extend my COPR. Am up for the 14 day quarantine also.
Worst case, I can just work remotely from Canada till everything goes back to normal (same as what am doing right now).
