Doing practicums with post graduate work permit

I’m an international student doing my masters at University Of Saskatchewan. I have completed the first year and now I’ve decided to do a one year online certificate at the same time as my master’s. My study permit expires in one and a half years and since the certificate has two practicums, I can’t do them with my study permit. Can I do the 2 practicums with my post graduate work permit? Or only co op work permit is required?

Normally to do coops you need both a valid study permit and a coop work permit. Is this online course from a real school recognized as a DLI in Canada?
It seems like a mistake to waste your PGWP on coop even if that's allowed.

Thank you for your reply. But cuz my study permit is for my master’s which doesn’t need practicums, I think I can’t apply for co op , right? Cuz I’m gonna get my pgwp with my master’s document
