I received an email from IRCC saying my PR application is approved. I login IRCC and see the application is approved on Apr 20. The passports were received by them on Mar 9. After 42 days, finally....

I had the same situation like you,sent my passport on 17th march and got delivered on 18th,on raising webform,they ask me the courier name,delivery date etc,its just a thing to buy some more time,i send them the details and after a week i was told that the responsible office has everything they need and they will try to process asap but due to covid19,they are working on limited staff.

I just got a reply from them. They have my passport.

Unfortunately I didn't take down the tracking number so I am not sure if and when they mail my documents back.

The good thing is, on IRCC portal, I see the visa stamp has a expiration date on Aug 6, so there's 3.5 months left for the landing.

I think the expiration matches the date your medical examination expires.

That seems to be a great news. Whats the status of your application online? Is it also showing Approved? Also when you requested for GCMS notes?

@JoeyDi that's great news! can you let me know which GCMS notes pack did you order? the basic notes or GCMS+?
also, how long did it take for the notes to arrive?

Not really. The visit date on my medical exam information sheet is July 22, 2019. But the document expiration on IRCC website is Aug 6. Not sure how they come up with the date but it's exactly 5 months after I mailed the passports.

when did they receive your passport? I assume you mailed it to the Ottawa office.
