I raised two webforms post the expiry of my copr . One to New Delhi and other to the general IRCC webform. I got an update at my profile . When I login , everything has been changed to still in process . As in the travel documents number etc has just gone and it is showing that your application is taking longer than usual . As per my understanding they have reopened my application ( according to the guidelines )
What do you guys think?
My application was handled by my consultant. He says he cant see any change. In how many days did u see tue change? How to check the profile myself? What details do I need to login to my application? Thanks.

Actually I called for that purpose only. But the agent didn't ask for my details such as application no and UCI no.
I even told her that its been over a month I have filled web form. They shud have opened it by now but how do I come to know.Though when few days back I had called that agent asked my details and before he cud tell anything my call got disconnected.
@smithplato how did u come to know that ur file has been reopened?
He logged into this account and saw the update. Are you sure that your consultant has checked your account?

Hi everyone
I received my COPR and my passport was stamped and i was bound to travel on 10th April 2020 but could not travel due to COVID19 cancellations. Now my stamped passport will be expired on 15 th Nov 2020 and as per 6 months rule, i have to travel before 15th of May 2020 but as you all know as per the present situation all the flights has been cancelled until 16th May 2020. Just want to know if i renewed my passport will there be any issues as the passport no. on COPR will be different and also the old passport will have the visa stamp.
Totally confused as i am getting mixed responses. Do i have to raise a webform and go through the whole passport submission process? OR i can directly carry both the passports and show the relation?
Please help...
You can renew your passport, once you receive COPR, update new passport information in your EE profile, and simply carry both the passports with you. Its valid dont worry. I myself was in similar situation and confusion, but through extensive research have come to know what i just told you. I have myself renewed my passport post COPR. The visa in old passport remains valid. If passport offices are open, sure get it renewed.

There is still a few months to rebook before July. Think it is too early to ask for an extension for July expiry.

In any case, current CoPR needs to be expired before application could be reopened for extension. So its good to raise webform when your CoPR is about to expire and avoid duplicate webform requests.

Thanks for the suggestions friends. I appreciate your help.
The query was mainly for passport renewal, and any way i will wait for some time before any action as suggested, but good to know that passport renewal is one of the option. Thanks

Yes there were many announcements to not travel if it wasn’t necessary. CIC also told people to land before their expiry date if they were able to. Every case is unique.

There are thousands of extension requests and the borders are not open so I would not be concerned.
I was not worried till I came to know abt someone whose copr expired on 20th April and his file was reopend on 22nd.Mine was expired 25th March.Mine and Rajiv's expiry date was same. Are they not reopening the files in chronological order!!

Hello ,
I got a mail that your profile has been updated on my registered e mail Id. When I logged into my IRCC account to check my application , it was showing in progress. My country of origin is India .
I sent webform on 20 April and the profile was updated on 22 . So effectively two days.
As for logging into your account, you will require details of your IRCC account , there is something called as GC key and a series of security questions . You may take those details from your consultant, I suppose.

Organizing thousands of emails in chronological order based on COPR expiry date would be a waste of time.
