Hi everyone,
I just want to share my experience here:

My CoPR is going to expire tomorrow, April 21st.
Before the travel restrictions, I was supposed to move to Kelowna, BC, on March 31st. The flight tickets were obviously canceled, and since then I have been trying to find a way to get extension or to travel before the expiration date.
I managed to find tickets to fly last Saturday, to Toronto. As soon as I bought the tickets, I started to look for an Airbnb (no shared accommodation). However, every place I tried refused me. They were reluctant to receive people, even if they are asking for the entire place...
So, for people who face the same situation, be aware of that before buying flight tickets. Make sure you have enough time to look for a place to self isolate...because you will probably face difficulty to find one.

Now I just can raise another webform and pray for the situation gets better. I thought it was not reliable flying without a place to stay, trusting on the possible provided accommodation.
Hope you all stay safe. Good luck
Good Luck buddy. Let us know when you hear from them

You can stay at govt provided quarantine place.

When you arrive in Canada, we’ll assess your health before you leave the port of entry. You must have a plan to quarantine for 14 days when you arrive in Canada. This is mandatory, even if you have no symptoms. If you don’t have a plan, you’ll be quarantined in a facility designated by the Chief Public Health Officer of Canada.

Wouldnt recommend anyone simply not even trying to organise their own isolation accomodation given that is unlikely to be very popular with CBSA especially as the requirement for a mandatory isolation plan is pretty well advertised. Also it will not be free so will have no control over the costs involved or which hotel or where that hotel might be..

It would be good for those who tried their best for finding accommodations for self isolation. If they cant find then using Govt provided facilities can be considered if price is reasonable maybe a bit more than air bnb.

So Guys !! My COPR expired on 25 March and I did not travel to Canada due to Corona Outbreak. I have raised webform on 9 March and received true response (not the automated one) on 2 April. They mentioned me that they are extending my medicals to another six months and they will update me on re-issuing my COPR and landing VISA. So chill guys. They are helping us in the crisis situation like this. Make sure everyone who have expiry dates coming up up shortly, proactively raise webform to make our case strong . Below is the response I got.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Note: The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is affecting immigration, refugees, citizenship and passport services.

Please refer to our public website for information on how this may affect you:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/immigration-applicants.html#approved

Please do not attempt to enter Canada using the visas and confirmation of permanent residence (COPR) documents that expired on March 25, 2020.

It appears that your immigration medical exam (IME) has been extended to 2020/09/17; new visas and COPRs will also be issued with an extended date.

Once it is possible for you to travel, use the Web form to let us know so we can tell you what to do next.

Please ensure that your passport remains valid; you must hold a valid passport at the time of travel and landing.

If you renew your passport in the near future, please advise us of the new passport information.

Regards,
Congratulations on a positive reply from IRCC.
Actually, I have applied through consultant and used his email ID in the Express Entry. However I have raised the webform using my email ID. Also, I have received a generic response on my webform on my personal email ID. Didn't receive any specific reply yet.

Did you receive both the replies (generic one and the more specific reply) on the same email ID?

Yes this is allowed. I am assuming you would be flying into Canada as well.

What was the reason of not traveling? No flights or you preferred not to travel?

Hi Ajay,

I checked with CBP for AVR and they said you can use it via flights. But the truth is, nobody knows what will happen after 2 weeks.
I was planning to travel in first week of May, but I am now planning to get extension rather than taking risk.

Also, as per the latest updates, you cannot self-isolate with your known. You have to tell the self-isolation plan to CBSA officer, if they are not satisfied with the plan, they can force you to Govt. approved quarantine facility (a hotel) for quarantine. Better to defer the travel plan if you can.
