It's not closed. They're just not working on the applicationsDoes anyone know if applications are still being processed since all but one have not received an AOR1, or is the office closed due to COVID-19?
Don’t get this...what is the use of accepting applications if they are not processing them. This way the applications are just going to keep piling on. They just can’t keep accepting apps and wait for everything to be fine and when they come back to office they see 1000 apps just lying there. It's not closed. Someone on here said gov't is working from home...which I sincerely hope is right and I hope they are being paid well for their efforts. Sure immigration in general maybe not so much, but reuniting Canadians with their spouses should *absolutely* be considered "essential / critical" during this time.Don’t get this...what is the use of accepting applications if they are not processing them. I'm in the govt. and I'm working from home. It's hard to say what's happening at Immigration. Need to be patient with Immigration. I'm quite sure they're processing still, but possibly at a slower pace to due to demands related to covid-19. My guess anyhow. I don't know any more than you folks in that regard.100% agreed
We Should Write to the immigration minister about that and ask for the open work permit as inland do .100% agreed
